I quite enjoyed using the different types of positioning as it allow you to be in control of the style of the page content.

I would like to try using more than one type of position on the same page.

USING TABLES

October 23, 2006 at 6:08 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a comment

I have created this website withusing tables. I have created the navigation menu’s on the left hand side rather than on the right , because this is user friendly and the user won’t have any problems seeing this on their screen if they had a smaller screen.

The content will be displayed in the middle and the menu’s will remain the same on all the pages only the content will change.

looked at the following website to check for usability, it seemed quite well laid out, it had tables menu’s on the left and also menu’s at the top. The language was understandable, theĀ  colour was plain white with the banner being colourful. All the links worked well. overall quite good

I found this site was very basic in explaining what usabilty is. Basically the user should be able to use all the features of the website freely without any problems, like the links, images , navigation controls sholud all display and work fine http://www.usabilityfirst.com/

CSS controls the way content is presented, and works with mark languages. It allows you to set a page property and use it as a template throughout.
